1. Introduction

Welcome to Sydney Lux Proposals. By accessing our website, making an enquiry, or booking our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.

 

These Terms & Conditions apply to all clients, users, and visitors of Sydney Lux Proposals. They outline the terms under which our services are offered and delivered.

2. Our Services

Sydney Lux Proposals provides luxury proposal planning and styling services, including but not limited to venue sourcing, décor, coordination, photography, videography, and custom proposal experiences.
All services are subject to availability, seasonal variations, and partner terms.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service offering at any time without notice.

3. Booking & Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit 50% is required to confirm all bookings.

  • The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to the proposal date.

  • Bookings made within 14 days of the event must be paid in full upon confirmation.

  • Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

Failure to make payment within the specified timeframe may result in cancellation of your booking.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that plans may change; however, due to the nature of our services, strict cancellation terms apply:

  • Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • If cancellation occurs more than 21 days before your event, you may be eligible for a partial refund of the remaining balance (excluding third-party and preparation costs).

  • Cancellations within 7 days of your event will result in no refund, as all arrangements and vendor payments are finalised.

Sydney Lux Proposals reserves the right to cancel or reschedule bookings due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, safety concerns, or events beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer to reschedule or provide a credit toward future services.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate event details, including preferred date, time, and location.

  • Ensuring all required permits or venue permissions are obtained (unless otherwise managed by us).

  • Communicating any special requirements or sensitivities in advance.

  • Arriving punctually on the event date. Delays may affect setup and overall execution time.

We are not responsible for any disruptions or issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.

6. Third-Party Vendors & Partnerships

Sydney Lux Proposals collaborates with trusted third-party partners including venues, photographers, florists, stylists, and musicians.
While we take great care in selecting our partners, we are not liable for any actions, omissions, or performance issues by third-party vendors.

All third-party bookings are subject to their respective terms and conditions.

7. Changes & Rescheduling

  • Requests to reschedule must be made in writing at least [e.g., 14 days] before your event date.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee.

  • Any additional costs from third-party vendors due to rescheduling will be charged to the client.

8. Liability

While every precaution is taken to ensure a flawless experience, Sydney Lux Proposals is not liable for:

  • Injury, loss, or damage sustained during the event.

  • Weather disruptions, unforeseen circumstances, or venue restrictions.

  • Client or guest negligence, or damages caused to hired or venue property.

Our total liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service.

9. Media & Content

By booking with Sydney Lux Proposals, clients agree that photographs and videos captured during their event may be used for promotional purposes across our website and social media platforms, unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the event.

We respect your privacy and will honour any written request not to share personal imagery publicly.

10. Force Majeure

Sydney Lux Proposals shall not be held responsible for any failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather conditions, pandemics, strikes, accidents, or government restrictions.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, imagery, and materials are the property of Sydney Lux Proposals.
No part of this website or its materials may be reproduced, copied, or distributed without prior written permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
